Ogun State Commissioner for Housing, Hon. Jamiu Akande Omoniyi, FCA, has celebrated Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as YAYI, on his 57th birthday, describing him as a brother, friend and leader whose life reflects hard work, generosity and service to the people.
In a birthday message titled “Garlands to a Brother, Friend and Leader @57!”, and obtained by InsideOut Media Hub, Omoniyi said he had watched Adeola grow from a determined young man into a statesman whose name now represents hope, hard work and tangible results across Ogun State and beyond.
The commissioner recalled their longstanding relationship from childhood, noting that Adeola’s commitment to education and human development has remained a defining feature of his leadership.
According to him, Adeola has consistently demonstrated his belief that “without proper education, we cannot attain height,” while deliberately lifting others as he progresses.
Omoniyi, who described Adeola as generous, focused and committed to the advancement of the people, also highlighted his contributions to Ogun State, particularly in the areas of education, empowerment and infrastructure.
“As Commissioner for Housing and as your brother and friend, I have seen firsthand your passion for Ogun State. The schools, the empowerment, the infrastructure, the love for our people; it all comes from a place of genuine service,” he stated.
The commissioner further expressed confidence that Adeola’s journey of public service was far from over, saying his 57th birthday represents another phase of greater responsibility and impact.
He prayed for more wisdom, strength, sound health and divine grace for the senator, particularly as he continues to pursue his aspirations for Ogun State.
“The journey continues, and I stand firmly with you,” Omoniyi declared, while congratulating Adeola and affirming that Ogun State is proud of his achievements.
