Hon. Olumide Yakub Alli, popularly known as OYA, has congratulated Dr Adekemi Opatunde on her election as Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State.
Dr Opatunde, who hails from Akinyele Local Government Area, the same constituency as OYA, was described as a proud daughter of the soil whose emergence has further strengthened the voice of women within the party’s structure.
In his congratulatory message, OYA lauded her as a woman of will, inclusiveness, welfarism and dedicated service. He noted that her track record of community engagement and compassionate leadership stands her in good stead to mobilize, inspire and coordinate women across the state.
According to him, her election is not only a personal achievement but also a collective win for Akinyele and for progressive women determined to play strategic roles in party growth and electoral success.
