In a remembrance message marking the sixth anniversary of Ajimobi’s transition, Oyo State APC Youth Leader, Olalekan Glory, said the late governor remained an enduring symbol of good governance, progressive leadership, and transformational development.
He described Ajimobi as the architect of modern Oyo State, a rallying figure of the progressive family, and a leader whose courage and commitment to public service laid a solid foundation for the state’s growth and advancement.
According to him, the former governor’s impact continues to be felt through the lives he touched, the leaders he mentored, and the enduring values he championed during his lifetime.
Glory noted that Ajimobi’s vision and governance blueprint remain a source of inspiration for progressive-minded leaders and followers across the state, stressing that the APC Youth Wing remains committed to preserving and advancing the ideals he stood for.
He reaffirmed the youth wing’s determination to draw lessons from Ajimobi’s leadership as the party works towards reclaiming power in Oyo State, recalling the late governor’s historic victory in the 2011 governorship election.
