Ibadan Northwest Political Landscape Shifts as 20 APC Councillors Unanimously Endorse Hon. Adams Adebayo Yusuf for 2027 State Assembly.

IBADAN, OYO STATE – In a landmark resolution that has sent ripples through the political landscape of the constituency, twenty distinguished Councillors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) within Ibadan Northwest/Okebadan have formally affirmed their total support and endorsed the aspiration of Hon. Adams Adebayo Yusuf to contest for the 2027 Ibadan Northwest House of Assembly seat.

A Unanimous Mandate for Progress

The endorsement was led by the prominent leaders of the house, Hon. Aderemi Adekola Ajanaku and Hon. Folake Ruth Akintayo, who both reaffirmed their ironclad commitment to the victory of their former colleague. They described Hon. Adams Adebayo Yusuf as a man of impeccable character whose transition from the local legislative chambers to the State House of Assembly is not just a personal ambition, but a communal necessity.

Out of the forum’s membership, 12 Honorable Councillors were physically present at the declaration, while the remaining 8—including the aspirant himself—reached a unanimous consensus to work as a singular unit for his emergence.

The Honorable colleagues took turns to speak glowingly of Hon. Adams Adebayo Yusuf’s integrity and legislative prowess. The forum has officially adopted his signature mantra, “Connecting the Dots in Ibadan Northwest,” pledging to integrate this vision into their grassroots mobilization efforts.

The mantra represents a strategic roadmap to:

Strengthen the link between the grassroots and the state government.

Foster human capital development and youth/women empowerment.

Ensure the dividends of democracy reach every ward within the constituency.

The forum urged the leadership to facilitate the emergence of Hon.
