Dr. Adebambo noted that democracy is built on the principles of freedom, justice, equality, and active citizen participation, stressing that no democratic society can thrive when a segment of its population is excluded from access to quality education, healthcare, employment opportunities, skills acquisition, and political engagement.

She stated that a truly democratic nation is one where every voice is heard, every right is protected, and every citizen is empowered to contribute meaningfully to national growth and development.

Reaffirming the commitment of the PWDs directorate, City Boy Movement to the welfare of Persons with Disabilities, Dr. Adebambo said the group would continue to advocate for policies and programmes that promote inclusion, accessibility, empowerment, and equal opportunities across communities in Oyo State and beyond.

She urged government institutions, stakeholders, and citizens to work collectively towards building a more inclusive, equitable, and prosperous Nigeria where no one is left behind.

The group also congratulated Nigerians on the occasion of Democracy Day and called for renewed dedication to the ideals of democracy and national unity.
