The Adelabu Progressives Forum, a political support group within the Oyo Federal Constituency, has reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to the All Progressives Congress (APC), pledging total support for the party and its leadership ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The group made its position known on Friday, September 11, 2026, during a meeting with prominent APC chieftain and APC House of Representative member, Rt. Hon. Prince Akeem Adeniyi Adeyemi, popularly known as Skimeh.
The meeting provided an opportunity for members of the forum to restate their loyalty to the APC and express their readiness to work collectively towards strengthening the party’s structures and electoral prospects across the Oyo Federal Constituency.
The forum pledged its support for the administration of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Renewed Hope agenda, while also expressing confidence in the leadership and political direction of key APC figures in Oyo State.
Those mentioned in the group’s reaffirmation of support include the APC governorship candidate, Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli; Senator Yunus Akintunde; Rt. Hon. Prince Akeem Adeniyi Adeyemi; Hon. Ijadunola of Atiba; Hon. Ayobami Ajeigbe of Oyo East/Oyo West; and Hon. Oyewole Ojo of Afijio Local Government.
The development is seen as another indication of the growing mobilisation and alignment among APC support groups across the Oyo Federal Constituency as political activities ahead of the 2027 elections continue to gather momentum.
The Adelabu Progressives Forum further pledged to remain committed to the ideals of the APC and to mobilise its members and supporters towards the success of the party at the presidential, governorship, senatorial, House of Representatives and other levels of the 2027 elections.
