When you talk about leaders shaped by service, competence, and vision, one name stands tall in Oyo Central – Hon. Bimbo Kolade.
A proud alumnus of Obafemi Awolowo University, trained in Building, and later refined with a Master’s degree in Housing Development from the University of Ibadan, Bimbo Kolade represents the blend of technical expertise and administrative depth that modern leadership demands.
From his early days delivering major national projects with Tower Aluminium, to founding DAK Roofing Systems Ltd, he built a reputation anchored on quality, accountability, and solutions that last.
But his story didn’t end in the boardroom.
He stepped into public service and became one of Oyo State’s most versatile Commissioners; serving in Works, Agriculture, Lands and Housing, and Local Government & Chieftaincy Matters between 2011 and 2019.
Different ministries. Same results. Solid delivery.
Today, he serves Nigeria at the national level as a Federal Commissioner at RMAFC, and recently emerged as the 23rd President of the Nigerian Institute of Building; a testament to a career defined by excellence.
Now, as 2027 approaches, Oyo Central is looking toward a new kind of leadership.
Leadership with competence.
Leadership with credibility.
Leadership with capacity to deliver.
This is why many across the district are turning their attention to Hon. Bimbo Kolade; a man whose experience in infrastructure, development, public policy, and community engagement places him miles ahead in shaping a better future for the region.
A builder by profession.
A reformer by record.
A leader by calling.
Is Oyo Central ready for a builder who doesn’t just talk development but has lived it?
