Hon. Alli is a former Chairman of Akinyele South LCDA who served during the administration of late Governor Abiola Ajimobi. During his tenure, he earned recognition for administrative coordination, community engagement and inclusive leadership at the local government level.

Beyond his previous executive experience, he is currently an aspirant for the Akinyele Lagelu Federal Constituency seat in the 2027 general elections, a move that has further amplified his political visibility across Oyo State.

In a statement released by the leadership of the City Boy Movement, Hon. Alli was described as “a tested grassroots mobilizer with a deep understanding of community structures and political organization.” The group expressed confidence that his experience in local governance and stakeholder management would significantly enhance the movement’s outreach strategy.

As Director of Mobilization, he is expected to drive strategic engagement across wards and local governments, coordinate support groups, and galvanize youth, market leaders, professionals and community influencers in support of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda.

Reacting to the appointment, Hon. Alli expressed gratitude for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to work tirelessly to expand the movement’s base.

He emphasized that effective mobilization requires listening, relationship building and consistent presence at the grassroots.

Political observers note that his appointment could further strengthen the City Boy Movement’s footprint in Oyo State, particularly within Akinyele and Lagelu axis, where he maintains strong political networks.

With this development, the movement signals its readiness to deepen its organizational reach and consolidate support for President Tinubu as preparations intensify nationwide.
