The All Progressives Congress has intensified its grassroots mobilization drive ahead of the 2027 general elections with the inauguration of Ward Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Ogbomoso South Local Government Area of Oyo State.
The inauguration ceremony, held on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at the party office located in Alawo Compound, Arowomole area, was led by Hon. Adedeji Abiodun Adeyemo, popularly known as Obadoba, with the approval of Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin under the Oyo State Renewed Hope Ambassadors platform.
Addressing the newly inaugurated ambassadors, Adeyemo charged them to uphold discipline and exemplary conduct in their respective wards while actively engaging in voter mobilization and grassroots canvassing. He emphasized the need for strategic coordination to secure victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all APC candidates in the forthcoming elections.
He noted that the Renewed Hope Ambassadors initiative is designed to strengthen the party’s structure at the ward level and ensure effective communication of the administration’s policies and achievements to the grassroots.
The event attracted key party leaders and stakeholders across the Ogbomoso zone and Oyo North Senatorial District. Notable among them were Hon. Tunde Oloyede, APC Chairman for Oyo North Senatorial District, Rt. Hon. Gunju Ojo, Hon. Ayuba Lukman Okanlawon, Hon. Bello Razaq Atanda, Hon. Yekeen Woleola, Hon. Adeleke Adewale, and Hon. Chief Ademola Olawale Agbademo.
Others in attendance included Chief Adigun Asifa, Hon. Oladele Adeoba, Hon. Oladele Abiodun, Hon. Kehinde Olapade, Hon. Kehinde Oyebunmi, the APC Youth Leader in Ogbomoso South, and Hon. Ajadi Funmilayo, the APC Women Leader in the local government.
Also present were the newly elected ward chairmen and executive members, further reinforcing the party’s commitment to unity and strategic grassroots engagement.
The inauguration marks a significant step in APC’s early preparation for the 2027 polls, signaling a renewed focus on grassroots structures as a critical pathway to electoral success.
